Where is parking available downtown? PARK Roanoke offers over 4,000 off-street public parking spaces downtown, making it easy to PARK Once and enjoy all that downtown Roanoke has to offer.
Is Monthly Parking available? Yes, PARK Roanoke provides monthly, short term, and residential parking, depending on location.
Is there any Free Parking? Yes, PARK Roanoke offers off-street Free Parking at various locations and times. Off-street parking is also free on these holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Presidents’ Day, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day, unless otherwise announced.
May I pay by Credit Card at garages and surface lots? PARK Roanoke accepts Credit and Debit Cards in all its garages (except for Elmwood Garage which does not offer hourly or daily parking). Many of our garages operate 24/7 with automated paystations.
What are the height restrictions for vehicles? Height restrictions range from 6’7” to 6’9”.
May I park my vehicle overnight? One night of parking is allowed; however, PARK Roanoke does not allow long term parking in the garages and surface lots. If parking is needed for more than one night, please contact us at (540) 343-0585.
Oops, I received a citation while parking in a garage or surface lot, what should I do? There are many convenient Payment Options. We offer on-line and toll free telephone credit/debit card and electronic check payments. Citations may be mailed to PARK Roanoke at PO Box 83, Roanoke, VA 24002 or you may pay in person in our offices at 117 Church Avenue, SW. We accept cash, check or debit and credit cards (excluding American Express). Please do not mail cash. If you believe that the citation was issued in error, you may complete an appeal.
Monthly Parking Questions:
What type of payments are accepted for monthly parking? PARK Roanoke accepts cash, check, electronic check, debit and credit cards (excluding American Express). There is also an automatic bank draft form for a checking account option that allows payment to be deducted monthly from your checking account on the 1st of the month. Payments may be made in our office, on-line or by toll free telephone service.
When is the monthly payment due? Payments are always due by the 1st of the month. A $10 late fee per parker, is applied for payments received after the 5th of the month.
What do I do if I lose or damage my key card or hang tag? A replacement will be provided upon payment of a $10 non-refundable charge.

May I terminate my parking contract over the telephone? No, written notice is required. If your parking permit or space is no longer needed, notify PARK Roanoke, in writing, by the 15th of the month prior to the month that you no longer need parking. If PARK Roanoke does not receive a written notice to cancel the contract, you will continue to be charged for monthly parking thereafter. Please complete the Termination Agreement Form.
May I park anywhere in any PARK Roanoke garage? Garages may have 3 types of parking: daily, reserved, and monthly. There are restrictions depending on the garage and the type of parking for which your account is established. Only vehicles identified as “reserved” are permitted to park in spaces designated as “reserved parking.” Monthly parkers may not park in areas designated as “daily parking only.” Vehicles parking in the wrong spaces may receive a parking citation.
Drivers should park within the painted lines and marked spaces in all garages and lots.
May I use my hang tag or key card to park in any PARK Roanoke lot or garage? You may only park in the lot or garage that is associated with your hang tag or key card.
